"Some say, he's the secret love child of Mamma Gkika and Klaus Wulfenbach, and that he's nuclear powered....all we know is, he's called the Higgs!"

"The secret love child of Mamma Gkika and Klaus Wolfenbach"? Wow, Klaus must have been pretty damn smashed.
Seriously, though, this is the most badass webcomic page I've read in a long time. You know, they could scrap the rest of the plot for all I care, just keep giving us pages of Higgs beating up Zola.

Zola iz ektually already dead. The shock uv Higgs' first punch did sufficient damage to tear her spirit from her body. If not for de moveit #11, de only movink she vould be doing would be leedle tvitching death shudders.

I have a feeling, if the next page could be the last page of the chapter (for example) it features a big picture of Higgs with the cut Zola last gave him, and we see something very intressting in the wound, like a jäger skin, or something. I would accept that as a cliffhanger

I believe the longest volume was in the neighborhood of 149 pgs. I don't know if that was story & side stories. How long did the Maxim's hat story run? About 8 pages? So I'm hopeful that this is one of the longer volumes so that hopefully the castle arc is resolved.

Higgs isn't punching her in the last panel sleeve is too dark. Looks to me like it's Tarvek actually.

Nah, it's GOTTA be Higgs! he must be the saviour! Maybe its a spot of secret jäger!
And... I live in wrong time spirit... Its almost 4am here, and no new comic D=
*and, I notice'd after is posted the first post* The blurry-Higgs-speed-blur is also on the hand in the last post. Nobody is that fast! And.. Tarvek is running await with Agatha... And Agatha is rather important to him

I could live with a last panel just showing Higgs standing over Zola's dead body with the cut in his chest revealing the Van Rjin clockwork under his skin. That would be awesome, and then we can wait a bit for the patch people up, fix the Castle, repel Klaus, and then go somewhere else coming in the next page starting the new volume.

About the whole cliffhanger thing... If around 150 is average for one volume, this story wil run a bit I think. We already had a side story, and until now we didn't have more than 1 sidestory in a volume (correct me if i'm wrong). Anyway, I hope this volume will reveal something about Higgs, and end with Agatha fortified in a, maybe partly, working castle.

They run anywhere from about 104 to 149 pages and average about 126 pgs per volume, not counting the short volume 1. I was told what would happen by the end of volume 10 and we're not close to those events. On the other hand, if the story ran long those story lines may wait for the next volume.

"Some say, he's the secret love child of Mamma Gkika and Klaus Wulfenbach, and that he's nuclear powered....all we know is, he's called the Higgs!" ...and I don't even watch Top Gear. (It's a British TV show about clothes that were in style in 1970. Apparently.)
