"Beyond the impossible" is the style of the Foglios. Problems are never solved without monumental complications and obsticles. And that is frustrating to read. But it is part of storytelling. Actually, a problem I have is that, while the authors have a main plot thread (in their heads - their own admission), they create the details as the story unfolds. Sometimes they have to bend and twist events to make them fit the main plot line. Sometimes that gets bothersome as it seems, to me at least, to be forced. They're doing that right now while trying to keep an exciting and/or humorous story on each page. A style dot hy iz unable to write. Dey ken zig-zag all dey like, hy guess, but hy hope dey dun forget to zag beck to tings like DIS: www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20021111Just vun eksample. ;D (Vaits for sumvun to link to vhicheffer comic answered dot qvestion already.)

Efferyvun seems to be lookink for fan service. Chust de trousers vill be fine. Takink her pants off vill lose de comiks 12 certificate.

I'd rather see the machines take her to Gill, and Tweedle die horribly. Honestly I hate HIM I hate the time jump i hate that his kidnapping succeeded when it shouldn't have. He's too stupid a person to live and is a poor replacement for Tarvek whose actually likable. Tweedle has NO likable quality if he doesn't die soon, and they don't get back to mechanisburg soon ii may have to stop reading this as i don't find this plot line interesting just frustrating. ....since when was Tweedle a 'replacement' for Tarvek? That would be like saying Tarvek was a replacement for Gil. Plus, this whole "he's too stupid to have pulled this off" schtick? That would be a valid point if he was actually stupid. Everything since the Red Cathedral has been telling us the exact opposite, and that his stupidity is a complete and deliberate fabrication. He shouldn't have been able to steal Agatha out from under Violetta's nose, you say? Violetta is by her own admission a less-than-stellar smoke knight. And if Tarvek has some basic smoke knight training there's absolutely no reason to think Tweedle has none. You say he's not likeable? He's not meant to be likeable. He is all of Tarvek's bad qualities with none of the good ones, with a extra helping of arrogance and ambition for good measure. Me, I'm actually quite pleased to see Agatha getting her feet dirty again. For the majority of the Castle Heterodyne arc, she was directing things from behind the front lines because, well, the Castle wouldn't let her take the hands-on approach. She needed to be a leader and commander, so she was. But now she's in a situation where all of that is (at least temporarily) gone. Now she has to rely on nothing but her wits, her skills, and a vanishingly small cadre of allies. No-one is going to be giving her the answers she needs any time soon, so she has to decide (pretty much on her own) what she needs to do next. This is where we're going to see Agatha in her element. THIS is where things get exciting. Theposterreservestherighttorecanttheirpositionshouldthestorygoinacompletelydifferentdirectionandputherrightbackwithallherfriendsverysoon

But it's not humorous at all, it's annoying. I'm not a fan of time jums or time travel in general, and this seems to have been done very badly.

Hy iz not fan uf dis plot, eider, but dis, too, shall pass. Hy iz fan uf "down time" between beeg plots or set pieces, but dot iz just me. Hy din start dis till Volume 11, so hy had BIG readink session all at vunce, und preferred de charakter-buildink, tokkink scenes. Fonny stuff, too, uf coz, like de big coffee-brewer scene.
