It was a somewhat obscure reference. On Facebook, I think, some people thought it was a Lyft vs Uber thing. (those are apps where you can get rides from people with cars or give rides to people who need them if you have a car.)
I didn't get it either.

I still wish Agatha had just shot him in the snow I HATE TWEEDLE he is the worst character in the series no morals what so ever, i also still hate this entire plot line the time jump forward just no. I don't see how the knights would have been able to have a portal like that in Mechanisburg makes zero sense to me.

I don't see how the knights would have been able to have a portal like that in Mechanisburg makes zero sense to me. Yeah, Tweedle is a villain everyone can hate. That's the point. Good storytelling produces emotional reactions. As for the portal in the Red Cathedral... The Abbess appeared to be working for the Order. Odd. She was expecting a fake Heterodyne. There is something about the Andronicus - Euphrosnia relationship that has yet to be revealed. The second novel strongly implies they were married to seal the treaty ending the war against the Heterodynes. Yet, she is said to have brought down the Shining Collation. Rerich, the Jäger, implies she didn't marry Andronicus. I've got a feeling that Agatha is the first female Heterodyne offspring since Euphrosnia. "The Heterodynes so rarely produce girls. The last one was.." said Castle Heterodyne. Agatha interrupted with "Me!". Just another note. Otilia was/is one of the Storm Kings Muses. She was lost "over two hundred years ago" (Andronicus & Euphrosnia) and found in a sub-sub-basement of Castle Heterodyne. Andronicus had apparenty ordered her to protect Euphrosnia.

If he wasn't so obnoxious, pages like this wouldn't be half so satisfying. www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20130605#.VJcdKxAFAc

The portal in Mechanisburg, I think, was actually their long before Stumhalten existed. It seems to belong to a set of portals to, since it reminds Zeetha of the "Mirror of Queen Luhia" from her home, and their is also one under Beetlesburg (At least probably as long as Homecoming king is Canon). In that same short story it mentions how the original Heterodyne could move armies all over and nobody knew how. This implies that either the portal can send people to locations where their is no receiving portal, or that their are portals everywhere. (Though perhaps less now, it wouldn't surprise me if many of them had been broken.) These portals could be connected to Zeetha's homes ritual "To Call The Queens To Council." The one in Skifander and her Queen(s), one in the area thats now Mechanisburg where the people had a Battle Goddess and the Dyne's Guardian was female, and whatever was going on with the one in Beetlesburg (Perhaps it was moved, since it is in a museum. That said if you look at the scene where Agatha pops out of the portal in Tweedle's hidden fortress the portal is very different from the others. Much more mechanical, with the constellation ladies on the sides. I think it's likely that the portal was jury rigged into an existing system that was already there. As for how the Stumhultens new about it, the Cathedral was created becasue of a bet between the Good Heterodyne and a Prince of Stumhulten. I think The cathedral (Which the Castle can't see into, that's important) is part of a long plan of the Stumhultens to get a way inside Mechanisburg's defenses. As for how they new about the portal in the first place, the third book dose show that spies were often sent into Mechanisburg, and while many didn't make it out some did (If only because the Castle needed someone to go screaming home to tell everyone how terrifying it is.) Not to mention we have no idea where the Portal was before the Cathedral, or how well guarded it was. Since the Heterodynes no longer seem to use them, they may no longer remember what they do, or how they work, (Or just got board of them and thought it took all the fun out of everything, who knows.)
