That's what I figured, but Violetta's dialog their in the middle came off very much like she was saying Zeetha knowingly ate a heck of a lot of drugged cake. Which is probably just me, but it's been bugging me all the same. Though to be honest some of Zeetha's actions, making sure both Bang and Wulfenbach ate the cake, makes it seem like she knew at least some of the cake was drugged.

I do think Violetta's training may have allowed her to notice the cake was drugged, as well as avoid the effects. I don't personally see her line as implying Zeetha knew it, though. I think that only the cake and tea that were brought out in the midst of the argument were drugged, whereas the earlier cake that Zeetha invited Bang to help eat was genuinely just refreshments. She helped contribute to the cake-as-distraction side of things (very effectively), but being able to drug people actually depended on "make everybody be civil and eat" being a plausible intention on its own.

Zeetha didn't seem to eat any more cake than anyone else though at the end their, which goes against Violetta earlier statement that she ate enough to sleep for days. Though you would think the monks would attempt to stop something like that from happening. it wouldn't be hard to stealthy do it, all they would have to say is "Please leave some for the others" or something like that. Accidentally overdosing a passenger is probably against their oath. I don't know, something about Violetta's line their just comes off strange to me.

We didn't really see how much anybody ate at the end there. Vi and Tweedle can apparently identify and neutralize knockout drugs due to Smoke Knight training somehow. Klaus said he'd have two pieces and then talked a lot while he ate. Zeetha was offpanel and not talking most of the time. It doesn't seem especially strange to me if Zeetha noshed on some extra cake while Klaus and Lu were arguing. It's not like they were short of it, and the Foglios seem to have started playing up Zeetha's sweet tooth. (Well, she burns a lot of energy.) It would seem much stranger to me if Zeetha and Bang ate a lot of drugged cake beforehand, and it still only kicked in at the same time as for everybody who started together.
