So this "Muse of Time" is probably not made by Van Rijn, but inspired the other Muses constructions. (He may have made her later, but that would be kind of pardoxy). Or she is not the Muse of Time we see in Agatha's glimpse of the Time Windows (page 4 of the comic) but instead a perhaps semi-organic (the armor, the snakes (Which are mechanical but not around in Agatha's glimpse) inspiration and he later made a muse based off her. Other things to think on: - This page isn't on the clean white ones in the back, so probably is one of the original pages (Agatha may of gotten distracted early on by all the new ideas and went to work on her dingbots, not getting very far. And she didn't have time later to read more since Stumhulten happened right after.)
- I notice there is emphasis on her having no pupils but still being able to see, like the Giesterdamen.
- While funny the beekeeper hat could allude to the wasps. Also it's similar to the Dreen
- Just what was he trying to condense; I have a feeling that may be important. Did he get some kind of liquid sample from the “visit”
- What dose the "important" thing do

Hy think da 'condense' part is in da background ov da Muse. Vat is da Muse ov Time condensing?
Da 'important' thing distracts hyu from da other stuff. Dat's important.

It's kind uv interestink dat de vord "Angry" next to de illustration uv de Muse uv Time features a felon's hook or felon's claw on de letter g. Apparently, 80% uv convicted felons have dis feature in deir handwritink.

Hmmm. Well, as she's named the Muse of Time, this probably leaves two options. Either she identified herself as such (or was identified that way) and he named the REST of his Muses after her, or she visited him after he finished his masterpieces and he recognized aspects of her design from his own work (so decided to name her after his own creations). I'm thinking the former, since he expresses astonishment at the design's hands, which he would not do if he knew how to construct such delicate machinery at this point.
I'm still hoping for the theory where Tarvek is Van Rijn and Gilgamesh is actually the Storm King if they're both thrown backward in time. After all, Tarvek is the only one who has had a time machine in any canon(ish) works, and Gil is experimenting with it in Mechanicsburg.

My own random thoughts - a bit disjointed.
The "Muse of Time" has eyes like the Geisterdamen.
The Geisters worship a Goddess with the power of Prophecy.
Lucrezia mastered transferring conscious between mechanical/organic and organic/mechanical.
Zola called Lucrezia a "fraud".
Lucrezia seems to be behind the cult of the "Holy Child".
Just some thoughts.

Dun forget dot dere vere Geisterdamen in de time vindow in vit de Mistress in it and dey vos callink de Mistress 'Mistress'.
Und dot's a great idea ov Tarvek und Gil goink back, but I vud haff Tarvek as de Schtorm King und Gil as Rembrandt. Dot vud be fun!
Qvestion iz, which time travel model dey gon use? 'Red Qveen's Race', 'Trousers of Time' or 'Reg's Elastoplast'?

Van Rijn met ze Muse of Time/Enigma, who never gave a name, but may have revealed de time travel. He then wrote/drew in hiz diary and she became de muse for hiz creation of De Muses. Iz kinda veerd dot Tarvek und Gil could be related if Gil iz de schtorm king, since Tarvek is a descendant. It'd be like Oggie und his great grandson over again.

After all, Tarvek is the only one who has had a time machine in any canon(ish) works, and Gil is experimenting with it in Mechanicsburg. We have actually met the original Storm King in the prolong of the second novel, and he couldn't be Gil (Red hair for one) and he really doesn't come off as Tarvek at all, and if he was it would be some really big unreliable narrator going on to work. All in all he seems his own person who has no idea what's coming. And either boy as Van Rijn makes me cringe, especially Tarvek. Since Tarvek learned how to make Muse like clanks from studying Tinka, who was made by Van Rijn. So If Tarvek was Van Rijn the knowledge of how to make the muses would literally come from nowhere, making a paradox of sorts. Plus the only time travel we have seen so far, even with Othar's twitter, is time windows, stopping time, and throwing ones mind back into your younger body. None of which would get Gil or Tarvek back into the Storm King era. If I remember correctly, the energy cost to send anything more than information back is impossible, or at least implied to be by a very old Tarvek.
