Tik seems to have blown a serious fuse! Yeah it would be a good plan IF he was a secret Heterodyne and actually could command the allegience of the Castle, the Jägers and the Mechanicsburgers.

No one seems to have taken the Jagers into their plans: Tiktoffen, Zola, the KoJ....

At the start of this thread, the Castle announced it's intention to have Agatha recognized as the Heterodyne even if it was it's last act. As it has been pointed out by others (and within the story), The Castle will only work for a real Heterodyne. The Jaegers will only follow a real Heterodyne and they know who that is now (as well as knowing who the Other is). The townspeople have apparently left nasty messes of fake Heterodynes in the past. All these outsiders are blinded by their ambitions. Even Oulbenmach didn't take the hint, that the wise thing to do would be to drop the Doom Bell hammer and just run. That was only one Jaeger, albeit Mama Gkika, whose displeasure he felt.
And "DER JAEGERS IZ NOT LEETLE PETZ!!!"

Ticktoffen hav Bad Plan here. De Old Heterodynes vas too vise to put Safe Passage code in Kestle 'cause cleffer enemies might use itt, ja? Dey vaz also Vise enuff to chuze Loyalty not Kompulsion! Heterodyne forces ken refuse effen Direct Orders from de Heterodyne in Person to act in de Best Interest ov Haus Heterodyne.
Der iz no Command Control Overrde for de Kestle, de Jägerkin. or de Mechanicsburghers, 'cause dere vas neffer enny Command Control att all! Genius!
Also, he iz mebbe Veek too late to step into Vacuum. De position iz no longer Vacant.

Most likely "American" group. I mean it would not surprise me at all that Benjamin Franklin with all he accomplished could be in this world a spark. (the guy flew a kite in a thunderstorm to capture lightning!)

As to the "Sons of Franklin", if they're implying Ben, he did have quite a reputation with the ladies, so they don't necessarily have to be American. The truth is, his son actually flew the kite while Ben sat on the porch. Later in life they didn't get along, taking opposite sides in the Revolution. Still, he fits the description of Spark.

Und if Sonny-Boy blew up vile ketching de lightening, Old Ben could use the pieces for a Mark-II.

The Sons of Franklin could be a group founded by his illegitimate children. While I don't think he had any (proven) ones during his time in Europe, he was known as Old Lightning Rod for his numerous affairs. He could've sired a bunch of little Franklins in Europa in this timeline.
