Hy iz suspectink dot der Jaegers iz immune to de Doom Bell. But Gil und Othar (und Tarvek) are not. Alzo Boris und DuPree und Zeetha. Meybe Zola ain't az vell, if she still in town. Higgs should be ok, hy tink. Meybe Klaus ain't affected, hy vonder if Lunevka iz.
Hyu know, hy tink it take de fon out of tinks if hyu gots to wake hyu opponent op first bevore hyu kill him.

Well the bell seems to have quite an impact on the firsties, even deep down in the castle's basement; it is what? ~23 years since the last confirmed ringing so it will have floored most of the city militia rank and file as well as every outsider that wasn't in town for at least one previous ringing

I woke up thinking that de Kestle could take out all opposition, tget info from them in the most expedient manner possible, and then dispose of de evidence before the M'bergers and assorted minions woke up from their little naps. No witnesses!

I think the castle respects those who are not afraid to stand up to its ideas of fun. (That, and the castle knows these two belong to Agatha). Besides, this wasn't really insulting, more a friendly ribbing remark, like you would tell a friend with a leg in a cast "Hey cripple, get a move on".

Well, remember what Pratchett said: The gods love an atheist, it gives them somebody to aim the lightning at. Besides, von Zinzer ran out of fear some time back and I think the Castle would rather terrorize him when he's "amusing" again.

The Castle is more of a practical joker than anything. 'It schtill tinks it iz fonny." And there is no fun if the jokee isn't frightened or at least startled. So, yeah, it's not going to bother with Moloch at this point, especially as he has been a good minion and fixed the power.

It's been a really ODD arc for Moloch von Zinzer, hasn't it? Lost his brother - tried to avenge his death - mistaken for a Spark - shipped off to the Baron's labs - screwed that up and was sentenced to Castle Heterodyne - then was snookered into serving the woman who caused his brother's death and, indirectly, the man who sentenced him to life in a psychotic funhouse. Funny old thing, life.
