Yes, British Railways aren't the best, but there're a lot better than they used to be when they were nationalised, and the problems now are more lack of capacity than time keeping (don't mention leaves on the line). There's a plan to build a new line to bring the system kicking and screaming into the 20th century and you would not believe the amount of objections, delays and public enquiries before anyone even starts to build anything. Voops, hy seem to haff sed dot vitout de Jägermask. Hym schtartink to get all serious. Hy schot hup now.

(don't mention leaves on the line) Haf deye effer had de right kind ov leaves on der line? Maybe der right kind ov snow ? My wife visited England some years ago. So I heard all about "Remember last year when it was the wrong kind of snow?" headlines. I know, most of the pack won't get it. And I'm not going to explain.
