Is Lady Heterodyne -sparkling?- Yes, she is. There's no sign of the Countess's gas, but who knows. We do know it isn't Lucrezia Mongfish... ...not with those golden trilobites all -over- her. I mean, Agatha only put -one- on, and... I did think "Too much with the trilobites?", then I looked at Agatha and Zeetha. What happens in Mechanicsburg stays in Mechanicsburg - as far as the dress code goes. It's like wearing stuff with Mickey Mouse ears when you're in Disneyland. Mechanicsburg has Timmy Trilobite all over. (It could, of course, be Dudley the Bug.) online.dudley.gov.uk/news/fullrelease.asp?recid=1843

Hmm, well I presume the hallucinogenic gas has gone to England with the circus.
I didn't get the Sylvia thing though... am I missing something?
I guess this potential imposter is trying to out-Heterodyne the locals? Still, our brave new era could begin with an ideal opportunity for Agatha to get into the castle.
I still wonder why you think it can't be Lucrezia though. How about Anevka!Lucrezia in disguise?
Agatha's face is a picture though, heheh.

Hmm, well I presume the hallucinogenic gas has gone to England with the circus. I didn't get the Sylvia thing though... am I missing something? It's a song, lyrics by Shakespeare, music by Schubert. Take it or leave it :-) We don't know her real name, so Sylvia (or I find, Silvia, either), ... I also noticed after posting that my "Dudley Bug" reference didn't mention that the Bug is simply a particularly good specimen of trilobite, a common fossil around Dudley in England, and rather merrily so called. Nor was it clear - I thought - whether the generous resident paying for activities of the good-cause sort was a well-meaning anonymous citizen or Dudley the Bug himself. Oh, well. It's getting way too hard now for an attentive reader to spot something other people didn't notice too ;-) Really a joke, since Sylvia in close-up is wearing far too many trilobites... unless you're viisiting Trilobiteland... and Agatha previously got cured of Lucrezia by putting on just one. I think it could be Lunevka resprayed flesh-colour. And I think that if the Castle work crews have already repaired the electromagnetic grab then she'll get no further than three metres inside the door. (I'm presuming there is an electromagnetic grab, aren't you?) If Lucrezia is recognised as still (or again) alive then perhaps -she- is Lady Heterodyne (or is not) - but she's only Heterodyne by marriage. And maybe the Castle knows exactly what happened That Night - which seems to be that Lucrezia blew it up and fled for evil reasons of her own, tiring of the marriage perhaps. EDIT, I meant to add that I was reminded of Lady Whiteadder shown here >> en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beer_%28Blackadder%29 (blow up available). She's a fictional Puritan Christian and she wears modest robes, a very large cross ornament around her neck and two more perched on her shoulders. As far as I recall, her husband is much the same. EDIT again to fix the hyperlink.

I swear more Americans watch Blackadder than we do. I've not watched more than a couple of episodes, heheh. I see what you mean by that link though.
Ah I see how you mean that Lucrezia might not be trilobite friendly as such.
I didn't know Lucrezia was the one who blew up the castle, although I guessed something to that order must've occurred.

I didn't know Lucrezia was the one who blew up the castle, although I guessed something to that order must've occurred. Perhaps I shouldn't assume. But it's generally believed that The Other attacked Castle Heterodyne and kidnapped Lucrezia as his first wicked act - Agatha and Vrin discuss this on the way back to the chapel. Now we seem to know that the Other -is- Lucrezia - that came up in the conversation as well. Vrin doesn't confirm the attack, she just says, "Really? How interesting."
