The way to a cat's heart is through his stomach.

I think a minority of them can digest milk well as adults... like us, iin fact. (Taken worldwide.) Certainly one cat that I knew well didn't care for milk or cream. But it's traditional.

Well, yes , we always gave our cats water, but I believe rats and mice prefer chewitts (sticky sort of sweet) to cheese as well. Tradition is not always correct.

Ordinary chocolate is poisonous to dogs, which I think is best to mention before saying it's said to be very good for mouse traps as well. I don't know how the mice get on with it after they eat it, come to think. I suppose if you're trapping them then you aren't concerned for their welfare so much.

Heh I guess not, although since they nibbled their way through an entire tin of Green & Blacks drinking chocolate powder and we caught them much later, it doesn't seem to harm them at all. More's the pity.

I never see live rodents, only dead headless ones.
Someone told me once that chocolate was also bad for cats, but mine eat chocolate pudding and are fine.
Also, Mav is so right. Cats are little gluttons, feed them and they love you forever. Or rather, feed them and you are enslaved to them forever. <3 kitty masters. =3
