So now Tarvek *must* be saved as he seemed to know how to reverse the download. Wow. This has thrown me for a loop.

Okay... So Gil is wasped, and is thus being controlled by the Other. Possibly. I'm not entirely sure whether he is or not. Klaus, however, is most definitely wasped and is thus mind controlled by Lucrezia. And Klaus is mind controlling Gil. ... No wonder the guy is messed up Am I getting this right? Nice catch!

Ok, this is a convoluted mess. My tske is Gil IS NOT wasped and Klaus faked the weasel detecting it so the crew (and Lunevka) would think he was. He put a copy of himself in Gil BECAUSE Gil is not wasped. He created a copy of himself that was not under Lunevka's control. Gil certainly isn't as he is currently fighting her. He then visibly froze himself in Mechanicsburg believing he had also trapped Agatha (and her Lucrezia copy) there as well. Gil fights him by being in "the madness place" and staying awake. Unfortunately, he is very much oppossed to Gil having anything to do with Agatha and he demonstrated those feelings before Sturmhalten. Bohrlaikha is Klaus' creation and may be there to stop, violently if necessary, any contact between Gil and Agatha. Yes, Gil truly is messed up. Even worse than many of us suspected.

Bohrlaikha is Klaus' creation and may be there to stop, violently if necessary, any contact between Gil and Agatha. Yes, Gil truly is messed up. Even worse than many of us suspected. Thank you for sharing. I more or less agree with your interpretation, but it's weird how much autonomy the baron has for someone who is wasped. Either he's ordered around by the Other, in which case him freezing Mechanicsburg, constructing Bohrlaikha, revealing/faking Gil being wasped, planting himself in Gil's brain, and so on, is all in accordance with the Other's plan. Alternatively he is not affected by the Other even though he should be under her controll, and if that is the case then it's also possible that Gil is wasped, despite the fact that he's waging a war against her. Unless the war is just another part of the Other's plan. ... Head hurts. Need beer. Edit: Alternatively alternatively: Sometime during the last two and a half years Gil had a son. Think about it, it explains his sleep deprivation, and while thrilled by Agatha's return, he believes that her saying " I know something's wrong with you... they've... done something to you," means she suspects that he has produced an offspring. His son, who has been taught to view the Heterodynes as allies, is too young (or as Gil puts it: foolish, taking after his father where it comes to parenting) to see how Agatha might become slightly agitated, probably even dangerous, if she learned of his existance. Her promising " I won't leave it like this. I will find a way to-" is therefore interpretated as a thinly veiled threat rather than a loving reassurance, causing his outburst in panel 5. Also, they play with Zoing together. ... I'll shut up now. Sleepy time.

Wow! Klaus that was more than mildly sinister. Still it might have been brilliant, wasps after all are physical things that wont transfer if you copy your software into another brain. The real question is how much was Klaus influenced by Clancrezia when the procedure was done. Since Gilaus have been fighting the Other for some time now it seems as if he has managed to become the first to escape waspification - albeit by a more than slightly disturbing method.
